Colocation, built for how you actually operate
NICPL is a carrier-neutral, vendor-neutral colocation provider. We build and operate the facility — you bring your own hardware, network vendors, and connectivity providers. This is not managed services, and it's not a single-tenant build for one anchor customer.
20MW Tier-3 sites, delivered in 5MW blocks
- 20MW maximum per site, built as 5MW modules for phased CapEx and faster go-live.
- Modules engineered to support mixed rack densities, deployed on demand to avoid stranded capacity.
- Efficiency designed into the platform — cooling, energy, and automation together to maximise PUE.
5kW – 25kW — Air-Cooled
Standard CRAC/CRAH air-cooled racks, extended toward the top of this band with in-row RDHx (rear-door heat exchangers) for tighter thermal control.
25kW – 135kW — Hybrid Cooling
Direct-to-chip cooling and closed-loop liquid cooling as required, with immersion cooling provisioned for Built-to-Suit deployments at the highest densities.
Built for resilience and performance
Tier 3
Concurrently maintainable, N+1 redundancy
99.982%
Availability — no more than ~1.6 hours downtime/year
72 hrs
Continued operation following a grid outage
Every NICPL data center targets Tier 3, TIA-942 certification. Curious how that compares to Uptime Institute's Tier system? See the full comparison, or browse the cooling and power technologies behind our platform on Technology.
Containerized Edge Data Centers
A second product tier alongside the 5MW/20MW campus sites: factory-built, 20/40ft containerized modules for sites that need faster deployment or a smaller footprint — government and defence installations, telecom/5G edge nodes, smart-city aggregation points, disaster-recovery sites, and branch/enterprise edge compute.
20ft / 60kW — Instant Edge Deployment
Our fastest-to-site configuration: factory-assembled, tested, and delivered ready to connect. Built for use cases where speed and a small footprint matter more than scale — industrial plant floors, banking branch and back-office sites, and defence or border installations that need secure, self-contained compute with no dependency on nearby colocation capacity.
Form factor
20ft or 40ft ISO-standard container, factory-assembled and tested before delivery: assembly → subsystem testing → Factory Acceptance Testing → transport → on-site commissioning.
Capacity range
From a ~30kW compact edge node up to ~500kW AI-optimized, GPU-dense configurations — the 20ft/60kW class is the representative baseline (6 × 42U smart racks at 10kW each).
Power architecture
Grid input → transformer → LT panel → automatic transfer switch → online double-conversion UPS, with an LFP battery bank permanently in the power path for zero transfer time; optional DG input for extended outages.
Backup runtime
Hours-scale autonomous battery backup — not minutes-scale — sized to bridge grid outages and DG start-up delay without requiring immediate generator response.
Cooling
Precision in-row DX cooling in an N+1 configuration, hot-aisle/cold-aisle containment, and humidity control.
Monitoring
Unified DCIM + EMS platform — rack power/temperature/utilization, UPS/battery health, cooling and fire status, energy consumption, and PUE — on a remote mobile/cloud dashboard across multiple sites.
Fire & security
Smoke/heat detection with clean-agent suppression, CCTV, biometric/card access control, per-rack electronic locks with audit trail, and water-leak detection.
Deployment model
Standardized first-unit engineering, then a repeatable build once the design baseline is frozen — the same "standardize, then move fast" philosophy as the 5MW modular block.
Partner services, without vendor lock-in
Colocation is always vendor-neutral — you bring your own hardware, network, and connectivity. For customers who want more than a rack, NICPL also works with non-exclusive industry partners who deliver additional services directly into our facilities, so you can add capability without giving up choice. Every partner relationship is non-exclusive: you're free to choose a different provider, or bring your own, at any time.
IP Transit
Multiple non-exclusive carrier partners providing internet uplinks directly in the facility — never locked into a single provider.
P2P Connectivity
Point-to-point links to other sites, cloud on-ramps, or partner facilities, provisioned through the same neutral meet-me infrastructure.
Compute
Non-exclusive compute partners for customers who want managed capacity alongside their own colocated racks.
GPU
Partner-delivered GPU capacity for AI/ML workloads that don’t need dedicated colocated hardware.
AI Inferencing
Latency-sensitive inferencing capacity from partners, deployed close to where your data already lives.
Storage
Partner-delivered object and block storage alongside your colocated infrastructure.
