Solutions · Who We Build For

Government & PSU data center infrastructure

Public-sector and PSU workloads need infrastructure that's certified, secure, and distributed across the geography it serves — not concentrated in a handful of metro facilities. NICPL's Tier-2/3 rollout and certified build standard are designed for exactly that.

Certified, everywhere

Tier 3, TIA-942 certification applied consistently across the network — the same standard whether the site is the first one built or the hundredth.

Physical security, standard

CCTV, biometric/card access control, per-rack electronic locks with full audit trail, and hardwired environmental and access monitoring on every site.

Rapid, self-contained deployment

Factory-built 20ft/60kW containerized units deploy in weeks for defence or border installations that need secure, self-contained compute with no dependency on nearby colocation capacity.

Distributed by design

A Tier-2/3 city footprint rather than metro-only concentration — capacity distributed closer to where public-sector digital services and regional operations actually run.

Compliance & certifications

Beyond TIA-942, NICPL targets the compliance standards public-sector and regulated enterprise procurement typically requires:

MeitY empanelment

Ministry of Electronics & IT data center empanelment — the eligibility track for government and PSU workloads under India's data-localisation framework.

ISO/IEC 27001

Information Security Management System (ISMS) — the baseline standard for how information security risk is managed across the facility and organisation.

ISO/IEC 27017

Code of practice for information security controls specific to cloud and colocation services.

ISO/IEC 27018

Code of practice for protecting personally identifiable information (PII) in a cloud/colocation environment.

ISO/IEC 20000

IT Service Management (ITSM) standard, covering how IT services — including colocation operations — are delivered and supported.

No NICPL site currently holds these certifications — none are built yet. Every site is being designed and built to meet them from the outset, with certification pursued as each site reaches completion, consistent with how TIA-942 and OCP Ready are targeted across the network. MeitY empanelment is administered by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India; ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018, and 20000 are standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Neither body is affiliated with, or endorses, NICPL. See our Terms of Use for the full third-party trademark notice.

Two deployment models, one certified standard

Sustained regional capacity through the 5MW/20MW campus platform, or rapid, secure edge compute through the containerized edge line — both built to the same Tier 3, TIA-942 standard. See the market opportunity for how the rollout plan aligns with where public-sector demand is actually growing.
