What certification do NICPL data centers hold?

All NICPL data centers target Tier 3, TIA-942 certification — Design and Constructed Facility, via accredited third-party assessors. See the full TIA-942 vs Uptime Institute comparison for detail.

Is NICPL a managed services provider?

No. NICPL is a carrier-neutral, vendor-neutral colocation provider — we build and operate the facility, and you bring your own hardware, network vendors, and connectivity providers.

What rack densities can you support?

Two bands, zoned per site: 5kW–25kW air-cooled (including in-row RDHx for the top of that range), and 25kW–135kW hybrid cooling — direct-to-chip or liquid cooling as required.

Do you support liquid or immersion cooling?

Yes. Direct-to-chip and closed-loop liquid cooling are standard across the 25kW–135kW hybrid-cooling band, with immersion cooling provisioned for Built-to-Suit deployments at the highest densities.

How reliable is a NICPL site?

Tier 3, concurrently maintainable, N+1 redundancy, targeting 99.982% availability — no more than roughly 1.6 hours of downtime per year — with continued operation for 72 hours following a grid outage.

What happens if the grid goes down?

A battery buffer (BESS) bridges the outage while an automatic transfer switch (ATS) brings diesel-generator backup online if needed. Day-1 renewable integration also reduces how often the site depends on the grid in the first place.

Can I deploy a small site quickly?

Yes — factory-built 20ft/60kW containerized units deploy as an instant edge site in weeks, not months. They're a common fit for industrial plant floors, bank branch and back-office sites, and defence or border installations that need secure, self-contained compute without waiting on campus-scale construction. What monitoring do I get as a colocation customer?

A unified DCIM + EMS platform covering rack power, temperature, and utilization; UPS/battery health; cooling and fire status; and energy consumption and PUE — on one remote, multi-site dashboard.

Where are NICPL's data centers located?

Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across India. The near-term base plan covers Noida, Nagpur, and Puri, expanding toward a long-run network of 108 data centers nationwide. See the market opportunity for the full rollout plan.

How is NICPL different from a typical hyperscaler build?

It's not a single-tenant build for one anchor customer. NICPL uses one reference design repeated across every site — about 80% standardized, 20% adapted to local conditions — so reliability and quality stay consistent from site to site, not just at the flagship location.
